We collect the following data through the "My TCM Pro" App: • Account data: phone number, hashed HKID number (for matching clinic records) • Health data: consultation record summaries, medication tracking logs, symptom diaries • Usage data: push notification tokens, app preference settings • Biometric data: Face ID / Touch ID authentication results (processed locally only, never uploaded to servers)
2. How We Use Your Data
Collected data is used solely for the following purposes: • Providing medical record access, allowing you to view consultation summaries and prescriptions • Member account management, including balance enquiries and coupon usage • Sending appointment reminders, medication reminders, and health tracking notifications • Improving app service quality and user experience We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
• All data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS • Data is stored on internationally certified cloud servers (Supabase / AWS) • HKID numbers are stored as SHA-256 one-way hashes and cannot be reversed • Biometric data is stored locally on your device only and never transmitted to our servers • Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure you can only access your own data
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only in the following circumstances: • With clinics you have linked to, sharing necessary patient identity matching data • When required by law or court order • With your explicit consent We do not sell or share your personal data with any advertisers or data brokers.
5. Your Rights
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your account and associated data • Withdraw consent for push notifications To exercise these rights, please contact us.
6. Cookies & Tracking
The "My TCM Pro" App does not use cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking tools to collect your behavioural data.
7. Policy Updates
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notifications or push messages. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
